DUALLY ADAPTER INSTALLation---shown without dummy spike/cap
The Dually ADAPTER installation requires two (2) sets of Rimlox wheel locks.
- One set to lock the adapter to the vehicle
- One set to lock the wheel to the adapter.
Without both sets of Rimlox wheel locks wheel thieves can remove the center cap(s) and access the adapter and easily remove it from the vehicle with the wheel still attached or they can simply remove the wheel from the adapter.
Pictured are two of the required wheel locks for dually wheels running adapters, Both wheel lock designs shown meet and exceed the required vehicle wheel torque.
- The smaller inside wheel lock is covered by the wheel center cap locks the adapter the truck / vehicle
- The bigger wheel lock will be covered by the chrome plastic or aluminum spike / lug nut cover, locks the wheel to the adapter.

NOTE: There are currently no 100% guaranteed wheel locks for dually wheels due to the overall wheel design and lock limitations.

- Do not torque the Dually dummy caps, whereas the Rimlox wheel lock(s) now serve as your lug nuts...which are torqued to OEM specs
Chrome plastic Dually spike covers
- Your caps of choice will still fit onto the newly modified OEM dually dummy caps. Simply just slide them over the original lug nut and they will all look alike.

- Individually machined with a smooth finish and rethreaded for a professional look when removing the dummy cap(s) for wheel and tire maintenance.
