Why are the dummy cap(s) required to have the guarantee?
Although optional and (extra), the dummy caps not only conceal your Rimox wheel locks and keep your original look, they also protect your threads from rusting. Why does this matter? If your wheel stud threads rust just like one in the photo, there is a significant chance that the Rimlox wheel lock will seize up and potentially become stuck on the stud and not come off.
This can also prevent your wheel lock key from being able to remove the lock(s) potentially damaging or breaking the key when it could have been prevented. All Rimlox wheel locks are under a lifetime warranty that replaces keys and locks if they break, however, not if the studs are rusted and causing the key(s) to break.

This certificate is issued to the registered owner of the Rimlox wheel locks after all requirements have been completed. The certificate will be emailed within 48hrs After all registered information has been received and verified. Purpose of he certificate is to officially certify that your wheels and tires are protected as of the date on the certificate.
NOTE: No RImlox certificate of guarantee will be granted until registration has been received by the register wheel lock owner and is deemed VALID.

NOTE: Both installation options require the Rimlox wheel locks to be registered within 24hrs AFTER they have been installed.
2. WHAT IS NOT COVERED
- Unsealed key at the time of any and all wheel theft claims
- Torched or drilled out wheel studs
- "Hidden" vehicles (back of an ally etc.)
- Vehicles in storage units or garages
- Non-registered installations (Self and or dealer installs)
- Failure to file police report within 24hrs of wheel theft
- Rusted studs
3. The guarANTEE---completion
Your guarantee is only complete if you have:
- Dealership or 3rd party wheel and tire shop installation
- Register your wheel locks within the required 24hrs
- Ordered and installed your dummy
- Receive your Certificate of Guarantee
NOTE: It is the sole responsibly of the CUSTOMER to register their wheel locks and NOT that of the dealer/installer.
4. 24hr ONLINE REGISTRATION
All Rimlox wheel lock installations MUST be registered within 24hrs AFTER the wheel locks have been installed for the 100% Guarantee to be fully active. Failure to register will result in a $350 late registration fee. (Must notify Rimlox via email (only) if in need of a one-time extension). No registrations will be accepted unless fee has been paid. No exceptions.
